Recently, we had a chance to talk to one of our clients, CJMotion, a rental house specialized in professional equipment for film & TV industry in Bulgaria. Stefan and Dobry from CJMotion shared their insights on the Elit stabilized head after working on it for a couple of months.
How long does it take you to set up Elit gyro head?
In our opinion, if you have some basic experience with gimbals in general, it won’t take you more than 15 minutes to set up your Elit stabilized head from zero to ready-to-shoot. Of course, the devil is in the details, so the set-up time may vary a bit, depending on how big is your camera, how much accessories you have.
What application do you use Elit head for?
So far, we have used Elit on the remote dolly (regular and upside-down) during live TV shows, but we plan to use it on regular cranes, as well as telescopic ones. Will keep you posted! In general, gyro heads are powerful enough to be used on any device: crane (jib), remote dolly, towercam etc.
What do you think about working on Elit stabilized head?
We like using Elit, because it is very strong and powerful and the price for these qualities is very good. In the studio, it’s easy to work with Elit – the set-up is no hassle at all. Our team thinks that the level of stabilization of Elit is much more than good! Anyway, see yourself:
