Alpha Wind has chosen HD Air Studio’s Infinity MR-PRO gimbal for its DragonSky project enabling a complete 3D reconstruction of the rotor geometry in motion. Designed for drone-based inspection applications, the gimbal ensures precise stabilization for in-house LIDAR with microPC and camera.

For this project, the Infinity MR-PRO underwent a dedicated customization: the addition of a slipring, enabling continuous 360° rotation without cable management issues. This feature is crucial for uninterrupted workflows during long inspection missions.
The Infinity MR-PRO has been validated for reliable performance in the environments where DragonSky operates:
- Temperature range: 5–40°C
- Wind speeds: 2–12 m/s
- Weather: no rain or thin drizzle

For DragonSky, the HD Air Studio’s gimbal is currently used on DJI Matrice 350 with future plans to install it on M400 as well.
